Meet this week's Grad Chat guest, Marta Oliveira, PhD (she/her)!
Marta Oliveira is a molecular biologist with a passion for working culture and student well-being. She studied Biology in Lisbon, Paris, Uppsala and Berlin.
During the PhD in Berlin, Marta crossed paths with a sexual harassment victim that fuelled her energy to engage in mental health advocacy and organizational culture/design. Her focusing was on the prevention and tackling of power abuse and improving the lives of graduate students and survivors of harassment and power abuse.
Currently, she works with Dragonfly Mental health, delivers talks, and consults Universities and scientific institutes to help them improve their culture.
